Life after Prayer Space....

Hi Folks!
I am so sorry for all the delay to post it!
Last post I’ve explained about the Prayer Space which happened in the High School. We received a lot of compliments for all the effort and a good response from the School’s staff and students. It was really good to see the young people engaging with the Prayer Space. There is an article about it on the Prayer Space website as well (click here to open it), which I've heard it was a Hit. After the success of the Prayer Space, we’ve been working on The Big Questions, which is a way to try to discuss with the students about the questions that they made while the Prayer Space. We’ll be at School at lunchtimes on Wednesdays at the same room. We already started this week and it was really good the first meeting we had.
With the youth groups, we’ve been helping in a sleepover on the church in Broughton basically watching film, playing games, eating and trying to have some sleep as well. In Ulverston we’ve played laser tag and had a pancake party. In Urswick we’ve played the church bells, which is quite an interesting thing to do here, because it has a right way to do it and it isn’t just about strength. Other thing that we are preparing for the youth here is a residential with all the groups together, which we are all really excited to do. We had our first  meeting to plan it and hopefully the young people around the ages11-14 (ish) will like it.
I got more involved with the worship group in the Café Church and had lead it as well which was a really good experience for me. I also had a presentation about myself and what we are doing around the Deanery on the Deanery Synod meeting. It was really good to share a little bit about my life, what I’ve done and my hopes for the Youth in this Deanery.
For me this time had been really good to engage with the young people and to learn a lot of things. I hope to learn even more and develop what I need to. I am really impressed on what God had done here and what He is going to do. And what about the future? I’ll let God deal with that because I know that He will guide me and open the doors for what He wants me to do.
For fun, I’ve been on Carlisle United football(soccer) match, in Chester with Gary and Jane, having a lovely time cycling, etc. It has been really good fun all I’ve done so far. Hopefully I will go to other new places and do some new stuff as well. Well, actually this weekend I am going to have a walk and adventure with some people from the church. It’ll be a good fun…to not say epic or legen….wait for it….dary….hehehehe
Well, That’s all for now… Hope you all have a great time of Lent and hopefully I’ll update sooner this time.

Thanks for reading….
God bless You all…

Bye…

Ha det… ^^
